Lesta Bertoia, originally a Pennsylvania artist, showed locally for almost thirty years, including in group shows in the Allentown Art Museum, the Baum School in Allentown, and the Banana Factory in Bethlehem, as well as with the Pottstown Artists’ Guild. She had one-woman shows in Emmaus, Boyertown, and Quakertown. She has collectors not only in Pennsylvania but also on the West Coast. Her works have found homes in the Lehigh Valley Hospital as well as in schools, libraries, and offices. At her show at the Unity Church of the Lehigh Valley, in April of 2010, she sold thirty paintings in one month, and at an open house on her property in 2011, she sold out. She has recently moved to Maui, where, newly inspired, she continues to paint.
